Our band is Marley McCall on bass guitar, Dylan McCall on drums, Clint McCall on vocals, 6 and 12 string guitars, Brad McCall on vocals, guitar, harmonica, and songwriting, and our youngest member River Hendrix McCall. Our children are named after Bob Dylan, Bob Marley, and Jimi Hendrix. We teach our boys to be open minded to all kinds of people and music. Where words fail music speaks.
When The Levee Breaks
A McCall Brothers Band cover of the Kansas Joe and Memphis Minnie/Led Zeppelin classic about the 1927 Mississippi flood killing 500 people and costing billions of dollars. The video is about that flood, the people who fought for their lives, and the artist who wrote and arranged the song. This is also a preview of our new Crossroads To Chicago part 4 coming out in 2 weeks.

It was just last night, I was sharing this tribute to Robert with a friend that is 71, I'm 64. I reflected on how young he was when he died. Another friend was listening as well, she's 35, and piped up, oh, he's one of the ones that died at 27, that floored me for two reasons. Her age and the fact she knew of that rather bizarre, exclusive group of performers that exited this world way too soon. I know I said two, lol, the other thing that came to mind, was another question. Was Robert Johnson the founder of that group of posthumous performers?......
